Dental anxiety is very common and here at Sedation and Implant Dentistry Las Vegas we recognize that going to the dentist may make some people feel anxious and nervous. To combat nerves and make our patients feel as calm and relaxed as possible, we offer Conscious Sedation.

Sedation is a safe method and usually without side effects. We can accept referrals for sedation treatment from other dental practices. The dentist will discuss appropriate treatment at your consultation appointment and a full treatment plan will be given.

We depend on our teeth for so many things. Chewing, biting, speaking, smiling, and more. Despite how well we take care of our teeth with regular brushing and flossing, they can become chipped, cracked, or eventually worn down. Worse yet, tooth decay causes some people to lose their teeth all together. When this happens, the issue isn’t only cosmetic. If the structure of your teeth becomes compromised, it can affect the health of your entire mouth. Until recently, the only treatment options available for those with missing teeth were dental bridges and dentures. Luckily, advancements in dental implant technology have made it easier than ever to replace damaged or missing teeth for a sturdy, comfortable, and natural looking smile.

It’s not an exaggeration to say that dental implants can be life changing. Implants immediately increase comfort and confidence when smiling, speaking, and eating, and patients report looking better, feeling better, and having a renewed outlook on life. Fortunately, there are options available for people interested in dental implants, including Hybrid 4 dental implants.

We all know we’re supposed to see our dentist twice a year. But for some of us, fear overrules even the need for important dental work. And as we all know, avoidance makes most dental issues even worse. Then there are those who show up on the day of their appointment but are so worked up with fear and anxiety that they tense up and make even a simple procedure difficult for themselves and their dentist.

Neuromuscular dentistry is an approach to dental treatment that focuses on the correction of jaw misalignment. Our Las Vegas Neuromuscular dentists determine the optimal position of the jaw in order to correct misalignment and adjust how the upper and lower teeth come together (occlusion). By realigning the jaw joint through the use of cosmetic dental restorations, tooth recontouring (equilibration) or orthodontics, our dentists strive to alleviate stress from the jaw muscles and eliminate painful symptoms of Temporomandibular Joint Disorder (TMD).
